Popeyes is opening a London restaurant — here’s what it has planned

One of the most famous fast-food brands in the world is opening its first location in London.

Starting February 12, Popeyes London will open its doors to its first-ever customers, reports Eater. The new location, on Chadwell Heath Road in east London, has been 10 years in the making and, for its opening, will serve as a pop-up location before the company decides to open a franchise.

On top of that, Popeyes also opened a pop-up location at the weekend just to celebrate the opening. Though the restaurant doesn’t yet have a brick-and-mortar location in London, it will serve a selection of its favorites: chicken sandwiches, Popeyes Fried Chicken Mopping, two kinds of fried chicken sandwiches, pan-fried fried chicken, the Popeyes spicy cajun popcorn chicken with the addition of horseradish remoulade sauce, and the Cajun-style pork sandwich with the addition of cajun-spiced hot sauce.

More than 3,300 employees are expected to work at the Popeyes next month.
