WATCH: ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’ Press Conference & Release

It’s been two years since reality starlet Frankie Bridge first joined her husband, Wayne, on “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” — and two years of bonding.
The mother of two just released her first book, “Hi Frankie: My Life So Far,” and is on a press tour across the U.K. to promote it. During one of her stops at Paper magazine’s headquarters in London, she chatted with host, Rebecca English, about surviving her first-ever jungle experience with Wayne, and how she got so ready for it.
“Wayne prepared me from the start, he always had all the blankets, he kept me warm,” Frankie confessed. “We didn’t do so well. It was tough. We made some of the worst fashion choices ever. I probably should have gone into cooking or something because I wasn’t that good. I used to make chicken pesto and red sauce and make it into piccata and set my pasta apart. You only have yourself to blame.”
Wayne added, “I didn’t think she could make anything! I’m sure she can now because she’s a cook.”
Frankie was also ready to look back on her time on the show, but quickly compared her stint in the jungle to parenting.
“It’s like walking into the trenches when you’re breastfeeding a baby,” Frankie said. “It’s just so tough to be stuck in there and so long, you don’t get fed. But it’s a great warm body and you feel so warm, and you’re OK. I don’t think my heart went into my throat. But it really was.”
Even though they did a pretty good job with the jungle, Frankie and Wayne have never turned down another opportunity to head to the South African jungle together.
“I always think about it but I never really think of it because when he’s like ‘Let’s go do it!’ and I go ‘OK Wayne, let’s go do it!’ I’m like, ‘Fine, great! Let’s do it!’ ”
“I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” returns to Australia in November on ITV.
